Mary Kay Cosmetics Fund Raiser:

Mary Kay Independent National Director, Brigit Briddle, Fran Huff’s sister-in-law, is conducting a fund raiser with all of the Mary Kay consultants and directors within her national organization.   They are all busy selling gift baskets, and scheduling office pamper sessions, skin care classes and conducting phone-a-thons to sell product and donate 50% of the net proceeds to the Allison Huff HOW Fund.

Important Tax Information:  Contributions directly to the AH HOW Fund are not tax deductible.   This is considered a “gift” by the IRS.   As such, the IRS limits how much you can gift to someone.  Consult your Accountant for limits to gifts.   The Allison Huff HOW Fund is not a charitable foundation or trust.   You are only contributing to the Huff Family as a gift.   However, some fund raisers on behalf of Allison may be tax deductible, depending upon the status of the organizer.   Check with the fund raiser organizers for more information
